Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on 16 March 1984, at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's most successful and popular comedians. Bea has appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) is also known as Aisling bea, is an Irish comedian, writer and actress. Bea began her stand-up show in 2011after having appeared in bits in several Irish TV shows as well as British shows since the year the year 2009. Bea began performing often on sketch comedy and sitcoms in 2012. She began appearing regularly in panel shows following the win of an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. In 2016 and 2017, she was a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats' team, in addition to being a performer of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. The actress is the child of Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her sister, was also born. In 2012, she became the second woman ever to receive the So You Think You Are Funny award. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who committed suicide at the age of three when Bea reached the age of three, was the sufferer of self-harm. The news of his death only at the age of thirteen. In 2017, Bea wrote an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family. She also adopted her stage name Bea in remembrance of him. Bea as well as her younger sister Sinead, were raised by Helen Moloney (n e Moloney), a former jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. Her family were in love with horses and race meetings. Bea started out her career as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that the race industry was not for her.
